I design and build websites. Since 2018 that’s meant music venues, bars, hemp brands, an orthodontist, an ATM company and a die-cast car club, and I try to make each site look like it belongs to the business it’s for.

This site is my playground.

This website shows how I design. I can build you a standard website, but I thrive in the weird and creative. The whole site is a portfolio in itself, and it’s my personal sandbox for showing everything a website can do. I like making fun, interactive experiences. The sites in my portfolio show what I’ve built for other people, and this site is my playground for the ideas and concepts I want to try next.

Design, code and the marketing around it

Websites

I design the site, write the code and launch it. I hand-code when a project needs to do something unusual, and I build on WordPress and Elementor when the owners want to make their own changes.

WooCommerce and Shopify stores, paid memberships and member-only pricing. I also wrote DropLock, a WooCommerce plugin I sell that enforces one-per-customer limits on product drops.

Marketing & SEO

Landing pages, ad campaigns, marketing funnels and search. That’s most of my week as marketing lead at Goldstar ATM, where I look after the websites and marketing for Goldstar and its sister brands.

Google Maps

Getting businesses onto Google Maps with a verified listing, and making sure they show up when people search nearby. I do this for a nightlife company with locations across the US.

A bit about me

I grew up in Portland, lived in Vancouver, Washington for a few years, and now I live in Lents, in southeast Portland. I studied computer science at Portland State, went through Epicodus for back-end development, and then took an internship at a web design company in Oregon City. That’s where I found out the design side was what I loved.

Since then I’ve led a web team at The OMC Group, built brands from scratch with a small creative team at inSupply Labs, and gone from web designer to marketing lead at Goldstar ATM.
